Silla Butterfly.........Butterfly chair.

  Siguiendo con la serie de grandes iconos del  diseño. Nos acercamos a la silla butterfly. Un precioso nombre para una silla ligera y etérea.

Following the topic of the great design icons we’ll proceed to the Butterfly chair, a beautiful name for a chair both light and delicate.

Nació en 1938, en Argentina y aunque al principio se la conoció con el desapasionado nombre de BKF, por sus diseñadores Bonet, Kurchan, Ferrari, en seguida se la rebautizo como Butterfly. mucho mas romántico y evocador.

It was born in 1938 in Argentina, and though at first it was given the unromantic name of BKF, the initials of its designers: Bonet, Kurchan and  Ferrari, soon enough it was renamed the Butterfly. So much more romantic and evocative.

  En un principio los materiales utilizados fueron la estructura de acero y el cuerpo de cuero. Pero ahora puedes encontrarla en multitud de materiales y colores. 

The first models were made out of leather on a steel frame, but now it can be found in great variety of materials or colors.

Acusada de ser un plagio, es a su vez la silla mas copiada. 

Casted as a copy it is however the most copied chair 

 Como las anteriores sillas, las puedes encajar en cualquier estilo.

As the previous chairs we have seen it can match any style.

Y por supuesto mezclarlas.

And, of course, they can be mixed

..Y como las Panton y Eames, queda perfecta en cualquier estancia.

And, as the Panton and the Eames, it looks perfect in any room..
